Grammy-winning singer Evelyn "Champagne" King’s story reads like one of those rags-to-riches Hollywood fables. Discovered singing while cleaning the offices of Gamble & Huff’s Philadelphia International Records headquarters, she went on to stardom, riding the disco smash "Shame" all the way to the top.
